Veronica M. Johnson
Veronica M. Johnson serves as an Associate Pastor of Discipleship at Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. She is currently serving as youth ministry leader which includes the church’s outreach youth programming through which they strive to “Transform Lives Through Youth Engagement.” Mrs. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Divinity degree from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, Illinois. Additionally, she serves as the Senior Director of Admissions and Enrollment at McCormick Theological Seminary.

Daniel Scott, Jr.
Daniel Scott, Jr. is a native Chicagoan and graduate of Northeastern Illinois University.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music (Area Performance) and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Mr. Scott is an accomplished, professional, and versatile organist (electronic and pipe), pianist, keyboardist, vocalist, arranger and writer. Performing a repertoire of music which includes: Gospel, Anthems, Spirituals, Contemporary Jazz, Secular, and Classical music.
Daniel is no newcomer to the professional music scene. Performing with The Joffrey Ballet, Yolanda Adams, and performing at The Chicago House of Blues just to name a few. Currently he serves as the Minister of Music for the Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago. Mosea Harris
Rev. Mosea Harris serves as a Pastoral Intern at GBMBC. He is a student at The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University where is working on his Masters of Divinity Degree. He is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III serves as Senior Pastor. He comes out of the experience of serving as an ordained deacon at TUCC for many years. Currently, Rev. Harris is completing his Minister-In-Training requirements at Trinity. He received his Bachelor degree in Economics and Political Science from Eastern Illinois University. Harris is married to Schena Warren Harris and they have 2 children; Mosea Esaias Harris who is a Junior in College and Yaleigh Ian Afia Harris, a 6th grader. He can be reached at mharris@gbmbc.org.
Saeed Richardson
Rev. Saeed Richardson serves as a Pastoral Resident at GBMBC. He has served for over 10 years in the African Methodist Episcopal and Non-Denominational Churches in North Carolina & Virginia. He came to Chicago in 2010, and currently serves as Ministerial Associate at the Faith Community of St. Sabina and former Staff Chaplain at the Cook County Jail, while pursuing two graduate degrees in the schools of Divinity and Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. His greatest service charge however, is as father to two beautiful children, Jeslyn and Jonathan, and as husband in a richly-blessed marriage to Anne, his wife of 18 years. Avis Abernathy
Avis Abernathy serves as the Church Administrator for Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. She is a faithful member of Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, where Elder E Osmund L. Hooks Sr. is her pastor.
