Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
At Bethesda, we believe the Word of God is true. When the bible says, “give and it will be given to you…,” we believe it. When the Lord says about giving, “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse…and test me…,” we believe God will do exactly what he promised. God promised to “…open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.” When the bible says: “God loves a cheerful giver,” we believe it. Therefore, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we are committed to be a congregation of generous, cheerful givers.
